Our Mission

Our Mission

In our world that faces increasingly complex and challenging problems, a skilled STEAM workforce has become a necessity. We have taken it upon ourselves to create a platform that allows youths to explore the wonders and fascination from state-of-the art technology in robotics, AI and, coding. In doing so, we hope to ignite a life-long love for science and technology, while being able to uncover the brilliance and potential that every child has.

Our Vision

We strive to empower all youths with the mindset of curiosity and innovation, while demonstrating the true purpose of learning various skills and inspiring them to become the leaders of tomorrow.

We believe all youth can embrace STEAM,
define their future, and change the world.

Founders Message

My name is Christy Xie. I founded this organization when I was in eleventh grade at Canada’s International School (Toronto French School). I grew up in Toronto in a family where robotics and making was a common activity in our lives. Our basement workshop was truly another virtual reality world where my brother Zachary and I were surrounded by screens, tools, and robots. As we gained knowledge and skills in robotics and coding, we realized that although various schools and children are interested in STEAM, there is still a lack of resources and strong guidance to foster that learning. This is an expensive undertaking for many schools and families which caused us to think that it was time for us to share our expertise with others.

We have worked as coaches and volunteered as mentors for children in our community. We saw how STEAM turned many video gaming enthused kids into young robotics engineers and computer programmers. This way, what would become an addiction becomes an inspiring possibility for a career choice.

We created a STEAM program for young people with this goal in mind and we wanted to turn this program into a welcoming and inspiring place for more students to embrace technology, such as computer programming, robotics, and maker. Our primary goal is to bring cutting-edge technology to more students in our community, open their minds, and to inspire them to explore STEAM. We also want to create a platform for experienced students to become teachers who will train others with the knowledge that they have gained through experience.
